The 43-year-old has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with the Black Sea club. "I am stubborn, ambitious and I have self-confidence," he said. "We are planning to do our best for this season but our target for next season is to fight for the league title."
New coaching team
Dogan's assistants in his new post will be Hayati Palanci, Ihsan Kavlak and Orhan Çikrikçi while Fikret Yilmaz has been enlisted as goalkeeping coach. Previous assistant coach Ihsan Derelioglu has been assigned a scouting role.
