Reign begins
Aybaba stepped down yesterday after being fined €30,000 for criticising the club's board, and Semercioglu has agreed to take over until the end of the season. He will be assisted by Orhan Çikrikçi, Ihsan Derelioglu and Bilal Çetinkaya, and begins his reign on Saturday when second-placed Trabzonspor welcome Gaziantepspor.
'A new duty'
Semercioglu said: "When I was playing football I took responsibility and did my job and now there is a new duty. Again, I will try to represent Trabzonspor in the best possible way."
