The 25-year-old Kristoffersen joined Lillestrøm from Eidsvoll Turn last season, and scored two goals 16 subsequent appearances. Kristoffersen, who has also been offered a job in the club's marketing department, said: "It was important to get the opportunity to combine my studies with playing football."
Second-placed finish
The club were also delighted to tie Magne Misund to a new deal after his impressive showing in 2001 helped the club to a second-placed finish behind Rosenborg BK in the Norwegian Tippeligaen.
