The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Russian Premier-Liga club and will replace former Torpedo keeper Roman Berezovskiy, who was recently transferred to Moscow neighbours Dinamo Moscow.
Nigmatullin returns
Meanwhile, Russian international goalkeeper Ruslan Nigmatullin has returned to Moscow from Serie A side Hellas-Verona FC after he failed to make his debut in Verona’s 3-2 defeat away to AS Roma on Sunday because of a dispute between his new club and his previous side, FC Lokomotiv Moscow
Deadline set
The transfer window in Italy comes to an end at the end of January. Officials from Verona are hoping to resolve the matter by that date, including securing the release of the Russian player of the year’s transfer documents, with Nigmatullin due to fly back to the Italian club on 16 January.
