Ivic opener
There were less than 500 fans at the 31,000-capacity Partizan stadium to witness Vladimir Ivic put the home team ahead after 54 minutes. After numerous attacks by Partizan a quick counter-attack by Zvezdara saw Djokic power into the area and put the ball past stranded goalkeeper Djordje Pantic.

Two-point lead
Partizan hold a two-point lead over city rivals FK Obilic and FK Crvena Zvezda, who have 30 points each. On Saturday, Obilic fell to a 3-2 defeat at FK Radnicki Kragujevac. Radnicki went ahead through a Sasa Djuricic header after seven minutes. They shot into a two-goal lead another seven minutes on, as Zoran Radosavljevic hit a 15-metre free-kick into the net.

Obilic respond
Obilic responded through Nenad Mladenovic after 24 minutes and within 180 seconds they were back on level terms. Adrijan Djokaj equalised for the visitors, responding quickest to head home a corner. But ten minutes into the second half, Djuricic responded with another header.

Goran Bogdanovic scored twice as fourth-placed FK Sartid enjoyed a 2-0 win at FK Zemun. His scored his first after just five minutes and followed up with 20 minutes remaining from the penalty spot.

Apatin routed
