NK Publikum missed two penalties but still emerged 4-3 winners at NK Rudar Velenje - a victory which lifts them ahead of the losers and into fourth place of the 1. SNL in Slovenia on goal difference.
Visitors fight back
The visitors twice fought back from a goal down before edging ahead. Klemen Lavric put Rudar in front after eight minutes before Samo Vidovic equalised after 25 minutes. Oliver Bogatinov missed a chance to put Publikam ahead when he became the first to fail from the spot six minutes later and Goran Jolic restored the home side's advantage after 33 minutes with a free-kick which crept in the right-hand post.
Penalty save
The game looked to be drifting away from the visitors when Rudar goalkeeper Janko Sribar saved Sebastijan Gobec's 43rd-minute penalty. But Aleksandar Radosavljevic levelled with a header from Robert Koren's cross 14 minutes into the second half and Mitja Brulc put CMC ahead 15 minutes later.
Decisive goal
Rudar must have thought Marinko Galic had earned them a share of the points when he netted in the 89th minute but Vladislav Lungu scored the decisive goal in stoppage time.
Other games
Elsewhere, Samir Duro scored an injury-time equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw for NK Maribor against NK Primorje. In tonight's other game, NK Olimpija Ljubljana and NK Koper fought out a scoreless draw.
