Grumser on target
Thomas Grumser struck in the 47th minute as Tirol clinched their 14th win in 18 games this season. Tirol stay clear of second-placed SK Sturm Graz, who won 4-3 at VfB Admira Wacker Mödling.

Korsós double
Sturm went behind to Kliton Bozgo's 25th-minute strike but were 3-1 up by the 51st minute after two goals from György Korsós and another from Horst Heldt. Alexander Ziervogel gave Admira hope of a comeback six minutes later but Gerald Strafner soon restored Sturm's two-goal advantage. Bozgo hit his second as the hosts threatened a late fightback but Sturm held on for the victory.

Brunmayr hat-trick
Third-placed Grazer AK beat Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz 5-0 with the help of a Ronald Brunmayr hat-trick. The striker struck twice in the final minute of the first half, the second from the penalty spot. Mario Bazina and Eric Akoto tightened the home side's grip on the game with further goals midway through the second half. Brunmayr completed the rout and his treble when he struck eleven minutes from time.

Kärnten remain fourth
FC Kärnten remain fourth after securing a 3-1 win over SV Austria Salzburg. Thomas Höller put them in front from the spot in the 23rd minute before Goran Tomic levelled six minutes later. But Heimo Vorderegger put Kärnten back in front in the 56th minute and Marijo Maric sealed the win with three minutes remaining.
