Promising defender
The Swedish Under-21 international, who is thought of as one of the most promising defenders in the top flight, is set to travel to Solna on Tuesday to complete formalities. "It feels very inspiring, and I got the feeling that they really wanted me there. AIK are a good team who will be fighting at the top. It will also be nice to be playing in the UEFA Cup."
'New challenge'
Tanardi, who made his Swedish league debut in 1999, had the luxury of choosing between either AIK or Scottish Premier League side Dunfermline Athletic FC whom he visited at the weekend. "I decided against Scotland and when it came to Malmö, I have played for them for my whole career so it feels right to take on a new challenge," said AIK's latest acquisition.
