Yugoslavia round-up: Partizan hit six

FK Partizan made a dramatic start to the spring campaign in Yugoslavia with a 6-0 win on Saturday.

Partizan triumph
Lowly FK Radnicki Kragujevac.had no answer for the goal-hungry league leaders and were behind in the 15th minute when Milan Stojanoski scored. Further first half goals from Nenad Miskovic (30) and Sasa Ilic (44) all but ended the game as a contest by the half-time interval.

Second-half rout
But their was more misery to come for second-from-bottom Radnicki as second half strikes from Danko Lazovic on the hour mark and two in the last ten minutes from Zvonimir Vukic capped a stunning victory and maintained Partizan's five-point lead at the top of the 1st Liga.

Obilic keep up the pace
FK Obilic kept up their pursuit of the Belgrade giants with a 2-0 away victory at FK Hajduk Kula. Bojan Filipovic netted both goals for the visitors, scoring in the 19th minute and four minutes from time from the penalty spot.

Sartrid thwarted
FK Sartid's hopes of a European place took a knock with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of FK Zeleznik. Zoran Majstorovic put Zeleznik ahead after just four minutes only to see his effort cancelled out by Nenad Mirosavljevic's 37th-minute strike.

Zeleznik seize control
The home side sealed three crucial points though on the stroke of half-time when Mihajlo Vujacic notched what proved to be the winning goal. The result means seventh-placed Zeleznik are just four points adrift of Sartid, who lie in fourth.

Vojvodina go down
Fifth-placed draw specialists FK Vojvodina suffered only their second defeat of the campaign, going down 2-1 at FK Zeta. Vojvodina did take the lead in the 15th minute through Ljubisa Vukelja but it was all downhill from there as goals from Nenad Brnovic (18) and Malesija Vojvoda (59) earned the home side the points.

Joy for Cukaricki
In other matches today FK Cukaricki defeated FK Rad 3-1, FK Mladost Lucani scored a 3-0 home win over FK Sutjeska and FK Rudar Pljevlja slipped 2-1 at home against OFK Beograd.
