Malta round-up: Precious win for Naxxar

Naxxar Lions FC recorded a 2-0 win over Pietà Hotspurs FC in the Maltese Premier League on Friday.

Five-point gap
Attila Horniak and Daniel Bogdanovic scored in the second half for Naxxar to ensure the gap between the two sides is now five points, with Pietà just one place off the bottom. The game was the first played in Malta since the end of the winter break.
