FC Metz midfield player Ournar Sane has decided to join Espérance Sportive de Tunis on loan until December 2002 with a view to a permanent move, it was announced on Monday.
Failed to impress
The 24-year-old Senegalese international moved to Metz at the start of the 2001/02 French first division season from non-league club Louhans-Cuiseaux. However, with over half of the current Le Championnat campaign having been played, Sane has failed to impress those at the Saint-Symphorien stadium.
Three points from safety
The club from Longueville-lès-Metz have slipped closer and closer towards the second division: Metz have 17 points from their 17 matches played, one more than bottom of the table FC Lorient and they remain three points from safety.
