The 23-year-old is angry at the number of foreign players at the club, having failed to force his way into the first team after being stuck in the reserves. "They gave opportunities to foreign players who have not proved their value," he said.
Chance to impress
He now aims to use the move as his chance to impress and get a permanent deal. Belenenses currently lie sixth in the Portuguese top flight, five points adrift of Porto and a further four behind leaders Sporting Clube de Portugal.
