Swedish international Yksel Osmanovski has been loaned from Torino Calcio to Le Championnat contenders FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
Osmanovski to kick-start career
After a spell with AS Bari, who were relegated to Serie B in Italy last season, Osmanovski decided to pursue his career in Turin. But the agile Swede failed to become a regular in the starting lineup, featuring in only three matches since the beginning of October.
Swedish nightmare
"I hope this nightmare will come to an end now," said Osmanoviski, who is bidding for inclusion in his country's 2002 FIFA World Cup squad. "It's been a tough time for me here and I hope that my stay with Bordeaux can get my career back on track."
Lack of firepower
Bordeaux are currently seventh in the French first division but are desperately in need of firepower. They have scored just 20 goals in 22 matches, 19 fewer than leaders RC Lens.
