Deserved lead
Olympiakos took a deserved lead on 14 minutes thanks to Slovakian striker Josef Kozlej's penalty, but his goal was cancelled out 12 minutes later with a powerful shot from Savvas Zoetsas.

The hosts regained the lead just before half-time with a goal from midfield player Savvas Tsiakklis and Kozlej grabbed his second of the game just after the restart when his shot from Aristos Aristocleous's free-kick took a wicked deflection off Themis Agathocelous and flew past AEP goalkeeper Christos Michael. Michalis Christophi wrapped up the points for Olympiakos three minutes later with an accurate shot from Kozlej's clever pass.
