Lucian Sânmartean, one of Romania’s most talented young midfield players, is set to move from CF Gloria Bistrita 1922 to FC Dinamo Bucuresti.
‘Life can be full of surprises’
Negotiations for the 22-year-old player began several weeks ago and a verbal agreement has been reached. Jean Padureanu, Gloria's president, said: "There are some details still to be clarified and, if everything goes ok, the papers will be signed by next week. But I cannot say 100 per cent that everything will be ok. Life can be full of surprises." Under the terms of the deal, Gloria will receive €350.000 and 25 per cent of any future transfer involving Sânmartean.
Young talent
Sânmartean is a skilful midfield player who has played 50 games in Divizia A, as well as eight games for the Romanian Under-21 side. If the move to Dinamo goes through, he would become the club’s second recent acquisition following the arrival of midfield player Costel Ilie from FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt.
