HJK Helsinki have moved to replace Jani Viander with the signing of FC Jokerit goalkeeper Pasi Laaksonen.
Three-year deal
Laaksonen, 29, has agreed a three-year contract with HJK as last season's Finnish Veikkausliiga runners-up prepare for the 2002 campaign.
Goalkeeper of the year
A Finnish international, Laaksonen will become the club's new No1 after Viander left last week for English second division side Stoke City FC. Laaksonen, who was relegated with Jokerit in 2001, has won five caps and was named the Veikkausliiga goalkeeper of the year in 1999.
