The Belgrade club have signed Denis Pretnjaca from Chinese first division side Beijing Guoan. This will be the 28-year-old’s second spell with Cukaricki, where he played from 1996-99. The defender Miroslav Cermelj, 31, has moved to the club from Mexican top division club Puebla FC. Both have signed 18-month contracts. Cukaricki are currently lying third bottom in the division.

'Survival more realistic'
"When the winter break started I understood that the season was over for us if we did not sign at least two players. From the ones I have been offered by the club, I chose Pretnjaca and Cermelj. They have been with us before and they are very fit. With the two signings our chances of staying in the top division are more realistic," Cukaricki coach Misroslav Vukasinovic said.
