Croatia round-up: Varteks held by Rijeka

Fifth-placed HNK Rijeka held second-placed NK Varteks to a goalless draw in the Croatian Premier League on Sunday.

Zagreb move clear
League leaders NK Zagreb are now ten points clear at the top of the table after beating NK Osijek 6-1 the previous day. Petar Krpan, who moved to Zagreb this winter from Osijek, scored twice.

'Not happy'
"I was not too happy scoring against my former club," Krpan said. "Osijek is my home city but they will have to take their chances somebody else. We showed why we have the right to be true favourites for the title."
