Unlucky Amica
Amica, who fielded three former Legia players in goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski, defender Piotr Mosor and striker Jerzy Podbrozny, were unlucky not to claim a point in this meeting of two sides expected to end the season in the top three. Indeed it was Amica who took a first-half lead as Marek Zienczuk struck shortly after the half-hour after receiving the ball from Podbrozny's free-kick.
Came from behind
Legia equalised through Jacek Magiera in the 64th minute, the defender firing home from inside the penalty area, and then went 2-1 ahead when substitute Sylwester Czereszewski found the net from the edge of the box ten minutes from time. Amica looked to have secured a point when Jacek Dembinski beat two defenders to score on 89 minutes, but they leaked a third goal almost immediately. Aleksander Vukovic played in Kucharski and the Legia striker hit the winner for the home side.
