Sninsky on target
Dusan Sninsky scored the only goal of the game eight minutes before the interval against FK Dukla Trencín to maintain his side's eight-point lead. Sninsky scored from close range after reacting quickest to a Marek Bazik free-kick.
Joy for Petrzalka
FC Artmedia Petrzalka stayed second after coming from behind to win 2-1 against fourth-placed AŠK Inter Bratislava. Miroslav Drobnák put the home side ahead in the 16th minute with a fine 15-metre strike, but the visitors levelled five minutes before the interval when Anton Soltis hit the net with a superb 20-metre shot. Henrich Bencík headed the winner in the 69th minute, rising highest to a Miroslav Bédi cross.
Kosmel fires Ruzomberok
MŠK Ruzomberok moved into third place at Inter's expense with a 1-0 success against FK ZTS Dubnica. Daniel Kosmel scored the only goal of the game two minutes after the hour, shooting home from eight metres after a goalmouth scramble.
Triumph for Tatran
FC Tatran Prešov recorded only their fourth league win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over ŠKM Púchov. Lubomir Mati put his side ahead in the 12th minute from the penalty spot after being upended by Ondrej Satka and six minutes later Lubomír Mati added a second from the spot after Ján Slahor had been fouled in the box this time by Robert Ovad. Lubos Pernis' 63rd-minute strike, also from the penalty spot after Marián Adam had fouled Mario Breska, proved mere consolation for the visitors.
Goalkeeper scores for Košice
Bottom club 1. FC Košice grabbed a point in a dramatic 1-1 draw with ŠK Slovan Bratislava. The visitors went ahead in the eighth minute when Lubomír Meszaros fired home from close range after latching on to a cross from Robert Vittek. However in the 90th minute Košice levelled through their goalkeeper Jiri Kobr when he came forward for a Vladislav Zvara corner and scored from eight metres.
