Caernarfon sink Rhyader
The struggling side held out for just over an hour at The Oval before Tommy Mutton opened the scoring for Caernarfon and Rhyader's gloom deepened as Leigh Williams added a second goal for the home side on 83 minutes to leave them two points adrift a the foot of the table.

Gloom deepens for Haverfordwest
Haverfordwest County AFC are in similarly poor shape after losing 3-0 away at Caersws FC. Andrew Davies put the home side in front seven minutes before the break and Robert Hamer doubled the lead after 62 minutes. Graham Evans then completed the scoring with only a minute to go, to leave Haverfordwest just six points off the bottom of the table.

Honours even in Cwmbran
Cwmbran Town FC had to come from behind to claim a 1-1 draw against Carmarthen Town AFC. Carmarthen took the lead after 25 minutes when Jason Keaveny opened the scoring but the home side were level just after the hour through Anthony Wright.

Llanelli fight back
Meanwhile, Newtown AFC took an early lead away at Llanelli FC but had to settle for a draw as the home side fought back. Colin Reynolds put the visitors ahead with an effort after only eight minutes of play but Llanelli were level through Nicky Palmer when he scored three minutes before the break.

Late strikes break Oswestry
Two goals in the final stages of the match ensured that Afan Lido FC left Oswestry Town FC with the points. Andrew Pearson had given the visitors the lead after 38 minutes but the victory was never certain against second-bottom Oswestry until Greg Hurley scored two minutes from time and Phil Holmes added a third before full time.
