Article body
RSC Anderlecht's title challenge took a knock as they were held to a 1-1 draw by ten-man R. Charleroi SC on Saturday.
De Bilde goal
Charleroi SC prospects were dimmed after 35 minutes when Abdoul Sylla was dismissed for a second yellow card, and when Anderlecht's Gilles de Bilde lifted the ball over goalkeeper István Dudas following a goalmouth scramble three minutes into the second half, a comeback from the home side looked unlikely.
Determined hosts strike back
However, Charleroi took only three minutes to respond as Sergio Rojas's flicked header after 51 minutes saw them level the scores at the Communal stadium, and they hung on to earn a point.
