Russian sides look to loans

Members

FC Alania Vladikavkaz and Krylya Sovetov Samara have completed loan signings.

Two Russian Premier-Liga sides have completed loan signings ahead of the forthcoming league championship.

Angelo and Ringys
FC Alania Vladikavkaz have signed Brazilian striker Angelo from their rivals Krylya Sovetov Samara and Krylya themselves have secured the Lithuanian international Robertas Ringys from FK Zalgiris Vilnius.

Loss of form
Angelo got off to a good start in the Russian top flight last year, scoring eight goals in the first half of the season. However, he then suffered a loss of form and the goals dried up. Last month he was late returning from a pre-season camp with Krylya and was fined. He then disappeared to Brazil and Krylya seem to have run out of patience with the player.

Promising debut
Ringys is a midfield player who made his debut for Lithuania last month where he was widely regarded as the national side’s best player at the friendly Rothmans tournament in Malta. The 23-year-old will join fellow internationals Nerijus Barasa and Robertas Poskus at Krylya.
