Slovakia round-up: Petrzalka run ends

FC Artmedia Petrzalka's 12-match unbeaten run came to an end this afternoon as they lost 2-1 at home against MŠK Ruzomberok.

Hazucha breaks deadlock
After just an hour of scrappy football Ruzomberok broke the deadlock against the run of play through Robert Hazucha. The visitors doubled their advantage eight minutes from time when Marian Dirnbach headed home a corner from close range.

Petrzalka surge back
Petrzalka surged forward in the closing stages and managed to pull a goal back when Henrich Bencik scrambled the ball into the net with five minutes to go. But Ruzomberok hung on to move up to third in the table. Petrzalka stay second, eight points behind the leaders MŠK Zilina.
