MŠK Zilina extended their lead of the Slovakian 1. Liga on Saturday despite drawing at MŠK Ruzomberok.

Deadlock in Ruzomberok
Zilina could not break the deadlock in a colourless stalemate, yet extended their advantage at the top of the table after second-placed FC Artmedia Petrzalka lost.

Petrzalka go down
Relegation-threatened FC Tatran Prešov stunned the ambitious Bratislava side who failed to get a shot on target in the first 45 minutes at the Tatran stadium. Marek Bubenko hit the only goal two minutes after the restart.

Inter triumph
AŠK Inter Bratislava had an easier time of it at home to 1. FC Košice, running out 2-0 winners. Roman Kratochvil opened the scoring in the seventh minute before Peter Dzúrik doubled up six minutes before the break - outfoxing Kosice goalkeeper Jirí Kobr when faced one-on-one.

Joy for Púchov
ŠKM Púchov also took three points against visiting FK ZTS Dubnica, who dropped to second bottom. Ivan Belak's 48th-minute strike proved decisive.

Trencín overcome Slovan
Meanwhile, FK Dukla Trencín saw off ŠK Slovan Bratislava in the day's late kick-off. Marián Stas grabbed the only goal on 35 minutes for a deserved victory.
