Mladen Francic is the new coach of NK Cakovec following Miljenko Dovecer's resignation.

NK Cakovec have named Mladen Francic as their new coach following the weekend resignation of Miljenko Dovecer.

Osijek defeat
Dovecer stepped down on Sunday after the 2-0 away defeat by struggling NK Osijek, the club's eleventh loss of the Croatian Premier League season.

Ninth in the league
Francic, best known for his spell at NK Slaven Belupo, takes over with immediate effect. Cakovec are ninth in the 16-team Croatian Premier League, with 28 points from 23 games.
