NK Osijek are on the verge of a place in the Croatian Cup final after they upset the form book with a 2-1 victory against NK Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night.
Bozinovski winner
Third-bottom in the Croatian league, Osijek defeated second-placed Dinamo with Vasko Bozinovski getting the late winner. Dumitru Mitu put Osijek ahead after 12 minutes, but Dario Smoje fired in a penalty equaliser in the 31st minute. Bozinovski's strike put Osijek on the brink of a final meeting with NK Pomorac when he netted ten minutes from the end.
Samardzic on target
Pomorac have reached a respectable seventh in the league, but were second favourites against NK Varteks who are four points behind Dinamo in fourth. It took just a single goal to win a tight semi-final, with Jasmin Samardzic pouncing for the decider after 35 minutes.
