Slovan sign Papousek

FC Slovan Liberec today signed the FC Baník Ostrava midfield player Petr Papousek for €400,000.

Brief spell
The 24-year-old only joined Baník in January of this year from the l. liga champions AC Sparta Praha. However, he failed to make the starting line up and, despite being on a three-year contract, the club decided to sell him to Slovan, who had been interested in him for some time.

Other clubs
During his career Papousek has turned out for FC Dukla Prague, Sparta, FK Jablonec 97 and Baník. He has played 93 games in the Czech first division and scored 12 goals.
