TVMK Tallinn moved to the top of the Meistriliiga table with today's 3-0 win at FC Lootus Kohtla-Järve.
Early break for TMVK
The game, played in Narva because Lootus's home ground was waterlogged, was all-but over within two minutes as Anton Paitsev and Anatoli Novozilov hit the fastest two goals in the history of Estonian first division.
Debut goal
Paitsev scored the opener after 56 seconds and Novozilov added the second just 19 seconds later. TVMK's 19-year-old Ingemar Teever came on as a substitute for his debut on 78 minutes and scored seven minutes later to compound the misery for Lootus.
Ustriski does it faster
Unbelievebly, Paitsev's goal was not the fastest goal in Estonia today. Dmitri Ustritski opened the scoring in the 45th second as JK Tulevik Viljandi demolished FC Levadia Pärnu 6-1 on the artificial turf of Viljandi. Estonian international striker Ustritski went on to score a hat-trick.
Levadia held at home
FC Levadia Maardu are still without a win under their new Finnish coach, Pasi Rautiainen, after drawing 1-1 at home with JK Trans Narva. A mistake by makeshift defender Mark Svets let young Trans striker Vitali Gussev in to score the opening goal in the 17th minute, as he burst through from the right to lob the ball over Damian Jaroszewski. Levadia equalised in the 32nd minute, when the otherwise reliable Trans defence forgot to mark Vitali Leitan and the left-winger hit a powerful shot past Aleksandr Djatsenko.
Flora triumph in Talllinn derby
Defending champions FC Flora Tallinn recovered from defeat last week with a win against local rivals FC Levadia Tallinn. Levadia fell behind after left-winger Aleksandr Tarassenkov's 52nd-minute strike, but they were back on level terms after 63 minutes through Sergei Dõmov. Flora centre-forward Aleksandr Kulik hit the champions' winner in the 74th minute.
