Bangor City FC's League of Wales title challenge faltered as they lost 2-1 on Saturday.

Bangor denied
In-form Caersws FC denied Bangor the opportunity to take advantage of leaders Barry Town AFC's 2-2 draw at Aberystwyth Town FC on Friday as they took all three points at the Recreation Ground.

Evans scores twice
Kenny Burgess had given Bangor the lead in the first half but they missed the predatory instincts of striker Marc Lloyd-Williams and lost the game in the second period. Graham Evans equalised with a drive shortly after the break and he headed home from a corner to grab all three points for Caersws late in the game.

Keaveney hits four
Carmarthen Town AFC's John Keaveney made an impressive start to his career at Richmond Park, scoring four goals as Carmarthen won 5-1 against Caernarfon Town FC.

No joy for Rhyl
Rhyl FC failed to improve on their fourth place as they drew 2-2 with struggling Oswestry Town FC, but their was better news for Cwmbran Town FC as they earned a 2-1 win against Connah’s Quay Nomads FC with two second-half goals from Anthony Wright.
