Plan rejected Molenbeek have been facing relegation to the third division by the Union Royale Belge des Sociétés de Football Association (URBSFA) because of their financial difficulties.
Hoping for licence The club are now hoping to create a new company to take over all assets and liabilities in the hope the authorities will then grant them a licence to play in the top flight. "I sent the dossier to the members of the committee on Wednesday,'' Filip Harnie, secretary of the club's appeal committee said. The final decision is expected by 25 April.
