Members

MŠK Zilina extended their lead in the Superliga to 13 points with victory over FK ZTS Dubnica.

Leaders MŠK Zilina extended their lead at the Slovakian Superliga summit to 13 points with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against struggling FK ZTS Dubnica. A ninth-minute volley by Marek Mintal proved enough to take the points, but Andrei Porazik went close for Dubnica in the first half and Peter Kiska hit the bar late on.

Petras winner
Elsewhere, Peter Petras scored a dramatic late winner as AŠK Inter Bratislava won 2-1 at MŠK Ruzomberok to leapfrog their hosts into second place. Emery Lembakoali put the away side in front just before half-time but Robert Hazucha looked to have earned Ruzomberok a draw when he prodded a close-range equaliser. However, Petras ended the afternoon a hero when he cut in from the left and coolly slotted home Inter's winner.

Kosice lose
Basement side 1. FC Košice lost 1-0 against ŠK Matador Púchov despite dominating for long periods. Milan Jambor hammered the only goal of the game after 19 minutes. Second-bottom FC Tatran Prešov also had a miserable afternoon as FK Dukla Trencín took the spoils with a 3-1 away win. Juraj Ancic, Robert Hanko and Martin Fabus scored the visitors' goals, while Sergej Zajcev netted for Tatran.
