Újpesti TE will face Haladás VFC in the Hungarian Cup final after beating Lombard FC Tatabánya and Dunaferr SE in the semi-finals.
Penalties needed
Újpest needed penalties to progress after a 2-2 draw at Tatabánya. The game stood at 1-1 after 90 minutes but Tatabánya's Roland Tüske scored his second in the 21th minute of the extra-time.
Dramatic goal
However, with seconds left Croatian midfielder Dejan Poljakovic scored a dramatic goal for the visitors, and Újpest won the shoot-out 4-2.
Second win for Haladás
Haladás had already beaten Dunaferr 3-1 in the league and they followed it up with a 3-2 cup victory.
Double in vain
Ferenc Lengyel scored twice for home team but Almir Filipovic, Sándor Preisinger and Leandro decided the match for Haladás.
Final in Gyor
Gyor has been chosen to host the final on 1 May.
