FK Zalgiris Vilnius kept up the pace in the Lithuanian title race with a 3-1 victory at FK Atlantas today.
Two for Barevicius
Viktor Afanasenko gave the visitors the lead in the 37th minute but the home side levelled through Vidas Dancenka's second-half strike. Giedrius Barevicius restored the lead in the 69th minute before adding another goal to wrap up the result two minutes from time.
Joy for Kaunas
FBK Kaunas had Darius Sanajevas' 76th-minute winner to thank for the maximum points against FK Ekranas while FK Suduva and FK Inkaras shared the points after a 1-1 draw. Suduva took the lead on the hour through Saulius Kraipavicius but the lead lasted just five minutes as Vidas Kauspadas equalised. In today's other game, FK Gelezinis-Vilkas and FK Sakalas drew 0-0.
