FBK Kaunas lost their 100 per cent record in Lithuania with a 2-2 draw against FK Zalgiris Vilnius on Saturday.
First points dropped
Kaunas twice had to come from behind at Zalgiris as they dropped their first points in seven rounds of this season’s Virsliga. Zalgiris, who went into the game two points behind the leaders after five wins and a draw from the opening six rounds, struck first thanks to Aleksandr Davidovic's 32nd-minute strike.
Slekys equalises
The lead lasted just three minutes when Audrius Slekys equalised to take the teams into the break level. Aleksandr Davidovic restored the home side's advantage from the penalty spot in the 49th minute but Audrius Slekys stole a share of the spoils 25 minutes from time.
Ekranas triumphant
FK Ekranas had no such problems disposing of visiting FK Suduva, a goal in each half securing a 2-0 win. Meanwhile, Saulius Lesnickas struck a 55th-minute penalty to hand FK Sakalas the points at FK Inkaras.
Gelezinis crushed
Finally, in a game brought forward from round 12, FK Atlantas inflicted a 4-0 defeat upon FK Gelezinis-Vilkas. Kiryl Savostnikov opened the scoring in the seventh minute before Martynas Karalius (39), Aleksandras Veseljevas (45) and Vidas Dancenkas (51) completed the rout.
