Malmö FF lifted clear of the drop zone in the Allsvenskan with a 4-0 victory over newly-promoted Kalmar FF.

The hosts were given the lead 12 minutes before half-time when Hans Mattison's 20-metre effort was deflected past a helpless Petter Waste. Two goals from winger Peter Ijeh inside seven second-half minutes effectively killed the game, and Jorgen Ohlsson capped a great night for the hosts and the crowd of 7,447 with a fourth six minutes from the end.
