Finland round-up: MyPa and Alliansi go clear

Myllykosken Pallo-47 and AC Alliansi open up a two-point gap at the top of the Veikkausliiga.

Tuunainen opener 
Alliansi went ahead in their game against KuPS Kuopio just after the half-hour when Jarno Tuunainen tucked away a penalty. After the break Petteri Kaijasilta increased the lead, before Yrjö Happonen make it 2-1 with another penalty.

Hat-trick hero 
With ten minutes to go Kaijasilta combined with Adriano for his second, but Jani Kartikainen pulled one back for KuPS two minutes later. Kaijasilta then put the game beyond doubt in the final minute, combining with Adriano for his hat-trick goal.

Comfortable win 
MyPa cruised to a 3-0 win over HJK Helenski, with an own goal to start the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by Miikka Multaharju's strike a minute later and Saku Puhakainen's 84th-minute clincher.

Two for Nieminen
TPV Tampere missed the chance to stay on top when they lost 1-0 at FC Inter Turku, while FF Jaro also could have stayed with the pacesetters but for a 1-1 draw at home to FC Hämeenlinna. In the other two matches, FC Lahti beat FC Haka 1-0 at home and a Rami Nieminen double gave FC Jazz a 2-0 victory over VPS Vaasa.
