Slovakia round-up: Zilina take the title

MŠK Zilina won the Slovakian first division title on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory against FK Dukla Trencín.

Late winner
Miroslav Nemec struck an 89th-minute winner as Zilina secured the championship with four rounds to go. They have an unassailable 13-point lead over second-placed ŠKM Púchov who beat FC Tatran Prešov 2-0 tonight.

Fourth winners
Zilina are only the fourth team to win the Slovakian league since the country split from the Czech Republic in 1993.
