Molde FK moved into fifth place in the Tippeligaen with a 2-0 away victory over Bryne FK on Sunday.
Hulsker opener
Bernt Hulsker gave Molde the early advantage with a goal in only the third minute, before André Schei Lindbæk sealed a valuable three points with a second goal eight minutes from time. The win lifts Molde above Rosenborg BK, who could only manage a 2-2 draw at Moss FK.
Brattbakk on target
Harald Brattbakk broke the deadlock to put the visitors in front after 19 minutes, but Rune Tangen levelled the scores when he converted a 23rd-minute penalty. Øyvind Storflor gave Moss the half-time advantage when he struck nine minutes before the interval, before Erik Hoftun salvaged a point for Rosenborg with 18 minutes remaining.
Stabæk on the up
Stabæk IF also leapfrogged Rosenborg with a hard-fought 1-0 home win against Odds BK at the Nadderud stadium. Tryggvi Gudmundsson's strike midway through the second period proved to be the only goal of a match that saw few clear-cut chances for either side.
Lillestrøm finish Start
Lillestrøm SK moved into tenth place with a convincing 2-0 away win against lowly IK Start. Tom Kristofferson gave the visitors the lead in the 20th minute inside the Kristiansand stadium, as he reacted first following a corner. Magnus Kihlberg extended Lillestrøm's lead in the dying seconds of the first half and his side held on to claim maximum points.
Sogndal in trouble
In the day's other match, bottom club Sogndal IL, without a win this season, lost 3-2 to SK Brann when Tommy Knarvik struck a last-minute winner. Rune Bolseth put Sogndal ahead inside four minutes, but Thorstein Helstad equalised in the 58th minute. Sogndal regained the advantage a minute later, but succumbed to late strikes from Petter Furuseth Olsen and Knarvik.
