Leaders Flora looked to be on course for victory when Andrei Stepanov opened the scoring on 15 minutes with a header from a corner. Yet Maardu, who had not beaten the hosts in seven attempts, responded through Vladimir Tselnokov's tap-in shortly before half-time.
Doubling up
The visitors continued to ask questions after the break and only the excellence of Martin Kaalma in the home goal kept Flora level. Until the 71st minute, that is, when Serhiy Chopyk broke clear to fire Maardu into a lead which former Flora winger Mark Svets doubled in the last minute.
