FK Zalgiris Vilnius are back on top of the A Lyga after a scoreless draw against FK Ekranas.

'Too unstable'
Zalgiris moved top after gaining a point on FBK Kaunas, who were sitting out this round. Kaunas now have three games at hand. Zalgiris, who are to play Hungarian side Kispest Honvéd FC in the first round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup fixture, struggled to unlock the Ekranas defence and drew for the fifth time in 13 games. "Our young players are too unstable," Zalgiris head coach Kestutis Latoza said after the game. "After a good game they might completely fail the next one."

Joy for Atlantas
Elsewhere, FK Atlantas cruised past FK Inkaras 2-0 to reinforce their position in the top three. Tomas Tamosauskas and Arunas Suika were on target for the Klaipeda side. Elsewhere, FK Suduva beat FK Nevézis 2-0 away from home with goals from Nerijus Sidlauskas and Tomas Radzinevicius.
