FC Haka drew level with Myllykosken Pallo-47 at the top of the Finnish league table after round seven of the Veikkausliga. MyPa now only lead on goal difference after a disappointing 0-0 draw at bottom club FC Hämeenlinna.
Haka leave it late
Haka left it late before taking maximum points against FF Jaro. Valeri Popovits struck nine minutes from time for the visitors' fifth win in seven matches.
Allianssi go third
AC Allianssi find themselves in third place thanks to a 2-0 triumph at home to FC Lahti. Petteri Kaijasilta's tenth-minute goal and a 28th-minute penalty from Jarno Tuunainen proved enough to earn Allianssi the points.
Big winners
FC Inter Turku were the day's biggest winners after winning 5-0 at second-from-bottom FC Jazz. The scores were level at half-time, but the away team ran riot after the interval. Richard Teberio (57 and 64 minutes), Aristedes Pertot (59), Luciano Alvarez (84) and Fernando Della Sala (90) were the scorers.
Korhonen on target
KuPS Kuopio drop to third from bottom after VPS Vaasa leapfrogged them with a 2-0 win. Mikko Korhonen found the target on the stroke of half-time, before Denis Kostynschuk sealed the win on 75 minutes.
HJK held
In the evening's other match, Tampere United FC held HJK Helsinki to a 1-1 draw. Mika Kottila put HJK ahead on 16 minutes, but Noah Hickey earned the home side a draw with 25 minutes to go.
