Article body
Two late goals from Peter Kovacs ensured FC Haka kept their one-point advantage in the Finnish Veikkausliiga tonight.
Great fightback
Kovacs' double in the last eleven minutes meant a 2-2 draw at Tampere United FC, after the home side had taken a two-goal lead through Matti Hiukka's 28th-minute opener and Ville Lehtinen's second in the 73rd minute.
Up to third
Haka are just in front of Myllykosken Pallo-47 who were 3-0 winners at FF Jaro. Miikka Multaharju put MyPa ahead in the 14th minute and Luiz Antonio Moraes' effort nudged them two clear by the break. Jaro's hopes of fighting back into the match were killed in the 85th minute when Jukka Lindstrom notched MyPa's third. They climbed to second from the third position that is now occupied by FC Inter Turku who were disappointed to leave KuPS Kuopio with a goalless draw.
Five points adrift
KuPS slump to the foot of the table due to FC Hämeenlinna's 3-0 home win against FC Jazz, secured by goals from Lasse Peltonen, Jukka Suikki and Esa Mattila. HJK Helsinki and AC Allianssi are both five points adrift of Haka who have 19 points, after a 2-2 draw. In the night's other fixture, FC Lahti held VPS Vaasa to a goalless draw.
