SFK Lyn moved five points clear of Molde FK after Sunday's 1-0 win against SK Brann.

SFK Lyn extended their lead over Molde FK at the top of the Tippeligaen to five points after beating Bryne FK 1-0 this afternoon.

Swift strike
Per Egil Swift scored the only goal of the game after 18 minutes as Lyn struggled to break down a side currently third from bottom in the Norwegian premier division, while nearest challengers Molde slipped further off the pace after they were defeated 4-1 at SK Brann.

Early goal
Molde's Magne Hoseth appeared to have given the visitors the perfect start when he converted from the penalty spot in only the second minute. But the home side stormed back into the game with Tommy Knarvik, Martin Knudsen, Nkosinathi Nhleko and Alonso Solis all getting on the scoresheet.

Champions win
Odds BK failed to capitalise on Molde's setback as they too were soundly beaten, 3-1 at home by Rosenborg BK. Two goals from Harald Brattbakk and one from Roar Strand before the break put Rosenborg firmly in control. Martin Wiig's goal in the 70th minute was little more then a consolation for Odd.

Five for Stabæk
Stabæk IFovercame bottom of the table IK Start 5-2 with Thomas Finstad and Tryggvi Gudmundsson each scoring twice, while Christian Holter netted from the penalty spot. Kimmo Tauriainen and Fredrik Stromstad scored for the visitors.

Brenne double
Lillestrøm SK continue to struggle as they lost 3-1 at Viking FK to goals from Erik Nevland, Abdul Ahmed and Bjørn Berland. FK Bodø/Glimt and Vålerenga Fotball fought out a 2-2 draw with Bengt Saeternes and Fredrik Kjølner's goals for the home side being cancelled out by strikes from Johan Arneng and Stian Ohr. And Moss FK beat Sogndal IL 4-0 thanks to two goals from Simon Brenne and one each from Morten Moldskred and Kjell Olofsson.
