Latvia round-up: Four-goal Dobrecov sees off Auda

Viktor Dobrecov scored four times as FHK Liepajas Metalurgs beat FK Auda Riga 6-0 in the Virsliga today.

Dobrecov opened the scoring in the 17th minute before scoring three times in 16 second-half minutes to help Liepajas to their tenth win of the first division season.

FK Ventspils were also among the goals in their game away to FK Riga, winning 4-0. Vitas Rimkus broke the deadlock in the 28th minute and Sergei Zangareyev doubled the advantage four minutes before the break. Andrei Butrik then scored the first of his two goals in the 53rd minute and wrapped up the scoring with a 90th-minute penalty.
