Sninský winner
Dusan Sninský scored the winner in the 58th minute to keep his side two points clear at the top of the table, with the only 100 per cent record remaining.
Helbích double
MŠK Ruzomberok and FC Spartak Trnava are both close behind with seven points out of nine after winning their respective matches. Ruzomberok cruised to a 4-1 triumph against ŠKM Púchov to move up to second on goal difference. Vladimir Helbích scored twice for Ruzomberok, with Róbert Hazucha and Róbert Rak getting their other goals, and Lubos Pernis claiming the visitors' consolation.
First-half goals
Spartak's home win came by a 2-0 scoreline against FK ZTS Dubnica. Souleymane Fall opened the scoring after 22 minutes before Gabriel Sikorjak added the second in first-half injury time.
Thriller at Košice
1. FC Košice and AŠK Inter Bratislava played out a thrilling 3-3 draw that gave the visitors from the capital their first points of the season. Július Lelkes put Inter ahead on four minutes with a penalty, but Marian Juhas and Lubomír Mati put Košice ahead before half time. Radoslav Kunzo levelled not long after the restart, but Roman Lazur seemed to have secured a home win with 18 minutes remaining. However, in injury time Lelkes added to his early goal by equalising to secure a point for Inter.
Trencín defeated again
FK Laugaricio Trencín are now the only side yet to get off the mark after losing at ŠK Slovan Bratislava. Róbert Vittek scored either side of half time to ensure Slovan's victory, which leaves them fifth.
