Derby joy
Zaur Svanadze celebrated a derby win for his new charges at FC Lokomotivi Tbilisi after they ran out 3-1 victors against FC WIT Georgia Tbilisi. Georgi Adamia opened the scoring for WIT after 15 minutes, but Mamuka Rusia and substitutes Zaza Latsabidze and Suliko Davitashvili sealed the win. Lokomotivi have now leapfrogged WIT into third place in the standings with two games in hand over their city rivals.

Away-day return
FC Milani Tsnori, with new head coach Berdia Gventsadze at the helm, beat FC Gorda Rustavi 1-0 at the Metalurgi stadium, Georgi Katchava scoring the only goal in the match. The three points helped Milani to move off the bottom, leaving Gorda and FC Dinamo Batumi cemented to the foot of the table.

Two hat-tricks
Champions and league leaders FC Torpedo Kutaisi came from behind to beat FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti. David Narsia scored an early goal to give Kolkheti a shock lead, but Zurab Ionanidze and Zaza Zirakishvili fired a hat-trick each to complete a 6-1 rout. Meanwhile, FC Dinamo Batumi drew 1-1 against FC Dila Gori, FC Metalurgi Zestaponi overcame FC Merani-91 Tbilisi 3-2 and FC Dinamo Tbilisi defeated FC Sioni Bolnisi 2-0.
