Striker Nenad Stojanovic stole the headlines on the first day of the Bosnia-Herzegovina season with four goals in FK Leotar’s 9-0 drubbing of NK Bosna.

Stojanovic on fire
Leotar were 6-0 up by the break, with Nenad Stojanovic on target four times in the first half. Bojan Vucinic and Dusan Kerkez also scored as Leotar started the campaign in style. From the 25th minute, Bosna were down to ten men after Elmir Lagumdzija was sent off. Sinisa Mulina, Aleksandar Jovanovic all fired in after the interval.

Smjecan brace
FK Slavija Srpsko Sarajevo were also comfortable winners, trouncing NK Posušje 4-0 as Dzemo Smjeca hit a double before the break. Second-half strikes came from Emir Obuca and Almir Janjos.

Celik hit back
NK Celik put an end to a poor run of results against FK Sloboda Novi Grad with a 3-0 triumph. The hosts were on top throughout. Dzevad Tabakovic, Senad Brkic and Damir Nadzakovic all got on the scoresheet.

Zrinjski impress
Elsewhere, FK Kozara and NK Orašje played out a 1-1 draw, while FK Mladost Gacko and NK Brotnjo floundered to a scoreless one. Zovko Zepce drew 1-1 with FK Zeljeznicar, Rudar Ugljevik fell 2-1 away to FK Borac Banja Luka, FK Glasinac beat FK Buducnost Banovici 2-1 and NK Široki Brijeg overcame FK Velez 2-1 by the same score. HŠK Zrinjski impressed in a 3-1 defeat of NK Jedinstvo.
