FK Ekranas defeated 1. Lyga leaders FBK Kaunas for the second time this season on Saturday.

Kaunas, unbeaten in 20 games against the other seven first division sides, went down 1-0 to the Panevezys club thanks to an 85th-minute strike from Ekranas substitute Sergejs Vlasiks.

Atlantas fail to capitalise 
However, second-placed FK Atlantas could only cut the gap at the top to six points as they played out a scoreless draw with third-placed FK Zalgiris Vilnius. Meanwhile, FK Suduva beat FK Inkaras 2-0, and SFK Sakalas drew 1-1 with FK Gelezinis-Vilkas.
