Marshall joins Albion troops

West Bromwich Albion FC have signed the midfield player Lee Marshall from Leicester City FC for €1m.

Old Trafford debut?
The 23-year-old Marshall has signed a three-year contract and is in line to make his debut for the newly-promoted club in Saturday's English Premiership opener at Manchester United FC after leaving Leicester, who were relegated to the First Division last season.

'Delighted'
Gary Megson, the Albion manager, said: "We're delighted to have got him. His time at Leicester probably hasn't gone as well as he or Leicester would have hoped. They changed their manager twice, he was played in a variety of positions, and his game may have suffered. But now we are giving him a chance to re-establish himself. It's another opportunity for Lee to play at the level he wants to."
